About iPotential

Enrique Baltierra started iPotential in 2013 after a number of high-level HR executive assignments and wanted the organization founded on the principle that everyone has significant potential regardless of their position, and that they have the responsibility to use their potential for the betterment of their organizations, team members and families.

iPotential is now a collection of experts, highly educated experienced professionals, and friends and we strive to use OUR potential to help others and do so in a manner that inspires us, because we do work we love!

Enrique leverages his HR and Talent leadership work over the last 30 years in a variety of industries and roles including 16 years with Pfizer in progressive management roles and then specialty roles at Washington Mutual, First American, and Liberty Mutual with responsibility for merger and acquisition, recruiting and training functions. He led Human Resources for Driscoll Berries’ largest grower operations (Reiter Affiliated) in Mexico and the US overseeing almost 20,000 seasonal employees and decided to create iPotential after all these experiences to utilize his passion for strategic business and talent initiatives.

In between his varied HR experiences, Enrique also consulted in the nascent and rapidly growing diversity movement with clients such as 3M, Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic and Boeing. He served 7 years on the Society of Human Resources’ Washington D.C. based diversity and legislative affairs board and was most recently president of the Orange County Diversity Council. He continues to speak and write to ensure diversity leads to full inclusion, engagement and equity.

He credits his opportunities in life to a vibrant bi-cultural upbringing from his Mexican immigrant parents who insisted on great education while modeling hard work and providing the hands down, best anywhere Mexican food anywhere.  Their love for seeing the world and immersing one in other cultures has been important in navigating through an increasingly multicultural workplace.

He is privileged to know and work with a great team who will meet the needs of your organization today and in the future!!
